Toskovat' - Age of Innocence

Age of Innocence by Toskovat' is a unique, artistic, and polarizing unisex extrait de parfum launched in 2022. Part of the "Extrait de Mémoire" collection, it aims to evoke the bittersweet transition from the innocence of childhood to the harsher, industrial reality of urban life, as envisioned by perfumer David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi.

The fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of nostalgia, featuring sweet bubblegum, cotton candy, and strawberry. However, this innocence is soon met by a stark, urban heart where notes of gasoline, rubber, and metallic accords clash with the classic elegance of rose. The dry down grounds the composition in a darker, more sophisticated base of agarwood (oud), cedar, and earthy vetiver, finished with the smoky edge of cade oil (juniper oil). Age of Innocence is a masterful play of contrasts—sweet yet industrial, familiar yet challenging.
