Matiere Premiere - Crystal Saffron

Matiere Premiere Crystal Saffron is a deep and sensual oriental-spicy unisex fragrance, released in 2022 by the French niche perfume brand Matiere Premiere. Created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, the aromatic composition is based on the highest quality saffron oil from the Kozani region in Greece.

The fragrance opens with a note of white musk, which enhances the radiance of saffron. The heart of the composition is dominated by precious saffron. Smoky-woody, resinous labdanum adds depth, while ambroxan gives the perfume a spicy, woody aura reminiscent of leather.
